If you are considering taking the "Account Executive" (telemarketing) position with THG or marcus evans, please, beware and be suspicious.
Be suspicious as to why THG and marcus evans has page after page of job postings on virtually every job-search website imaginable. If that fact alone doesn't raise concerns, then feel free to do a keyword search for 'marcus evans' and 'THG' on the complaint. Numerous past employees have voiced concerns for they way they have been treated in an attempt to warn future employees of the slippery slope known as THG.
I will not go into any details of the company here. Again, if you are interested in finding the dirt on this company... It's out there and it's the truth. Trust me, no matter how badly you might need a steady paycheck, DO NOT rely on THG or marcus evans. There are plenty other sales jobs that will pay you what you deserve while treating you like an actual human being and not just a disposable phone-jockey.
DO YOUR RESEARCH and ask questions in the interview. DO NOT be intimidated by their scripts and tactics aimed at luring you in with $100,000 earnings in the first year.
Take a pass on this job and this company. You owe it to yourself to find a good job.
