Hi, this is former Wal-Mart associate who was fired for the wrong reasons. I would like to start off by informing you or the reader that this a good company with some who could depreciates the company's morality. I was in the back working in Receiving with other people. What had happened was I was fired for doing what a manager told me to do, and as I was doing what the manager told me another sales associate had took out against what I was doing for that manager.
Me and other people in the back in receiving, we was doing our job as usual then as we were an assistant manager came up to me and told me to sweep the back area when we get done with the truck so I said okay. When we got done I started sweeping and one of the associate didn't agree and tried to take matter's and his own hands. So he grabs the broom as I was sweeping I pulled it away but he wouldn't let go.
I let it go, then went off to tell the manager the night. He tells me to come here but I told him leave me alone. Then he comes running down and about to swing the broom as the brush parts falling off he has the metal part that holds the brush at the end that he would swing to my head, but one of the associates stopped him. After all that I figured that was enough so I called the assistant manager, as I set out for him I think someone called him there already.
I went back there as he pages for me. Then we talked it out and he says that someone had said I pulled out a box cutter. I had no idea what he was talking about. So please get the video. I felt that was not right. Also I would like to make an appointment or meeting with the Home Office. Thank you, if something is not done then I will proceed further actions Thank you, again.
