Hello Everyone,

Before you do any business with elocal I would like to ask of you to please read this report.

ELocal listing, LLC is a company that is completely unstructured. They do not care about their customers, only in the fact that they are a customer base and residual income to the company. I have worked with this company since Zone Communications Inc. Www.zonecominc.com.
In actuality there were people in the company who genuinely cared for the companys well being. There were those who didnt care because the companys business model revolved around selling the company to the highest bidder as soon as possible, leaving all problems to be inherited by the purchaser.
Employees were promised all sorts of things, for example:
Zone communications promised their employees profit sharing when the company sold.
When the company sold to Search Initiatives Senior management told their employees we merged in order to avoid the profit sharing.
After the supposed merger between Search Initiatives and Zone Communications
eLocal Listing was born. The merger helped brand a new name away from Zone Communications which was already becoming a bad name in the local search industry.
After the merger was complete senior management once again tried to motivate their employees by offering them the empty promise of company Shares/Units which are worthless unless the company sold or where still an elocal employee, a minor detail they left out.
About 4 months ago one of their Directors was terminated because of embezzlement.investors were not told anything to avoid any panic between investors and the possibility of them retracting their investment. Funny enough this had already happened once with zone communications and that person still works there today even though most senior management already know this.
About 3 Months ago Greg Royse then began to terminate numerous Accountants. Willmar Gultom Accounting Manager (Successfully sued the company for wrongful termination), Deniise Emerson Accountant, Denis Sy Accountant. This move was very odd because the people fired where very good at their job and had reported suspicious activities in the accounting sector.
Since then Greg Royse who is was VP Operations was demoted to VP Controller has mysteriously lost an estimated $200,000.00 of the companys money and for the last month a CPA (Corporate Public Accountant) who specializes in Forensics has been present trying to find where that money went. Oddly enough the CPA is a good friend of the CFO (Ralph Williams).
Ralph Williams was made aware of this issue, and yet Greg Royse remains as VP Controller of the company which makes no sense. Rumor has it their I.T. Administrator was also Terminated because he also began reporting the suspicious issues to the CFO, but was framed in order to protect the company's interests (know as retaliation). Marie Defoor who is Director of Human Resources is also a good friend of Greg Royse which explained a lot. Marie and Greg oddly began to hire/move all their personal friends into management positions, Michelle Evanoff for example is not qualified to be an accountant manager, nor does she attain any certifications In accounting or business administration. I Ran into a couple of Maries old coworkers in San Diego that claimed to have to worked with Marie at the last company in San Diego California. According to them she was terminated for embezzling money. Surprised, I wasnt. Go do a background check www.hireright.com
Aside from the obvious favoritism that went on Marie and Greg both Partied with their subordinates in an attempt to have them join there click in some cases it was rumored that they also slept with their subordinates Like the manager of customer service and her employees, oh no? Remember the Cota incident?
Human Resources as a department is a joke, Marie Defoor (Director of Human Resources) would come to work as if going to a bar, exposing her breasts and wearing low cut skirts with slits. The department would only enforce company policies when it became convenient selecting their targets gracefully.
This click rapidly became a malignant poison in the company as no employee could go to Human Resources or some Management because of the click and the politics involved. The main issues revolved around both the Greg Royse and Marie Defoor. On some occasions the accounting department would report seeing Greg Royse and his Wife kissing Michelle on the lips in front of the department, why hasnt the company done anything about this? Is this acceptable in any work environment? Maire Defoor and Greg Royse, both where found on Southern California Swinger websites (this was also yelled out by a former employee she fired about 2 months ago who claimed to have found her on them as well.)
Todd Johnson VP of Sales (Corporate BSer / 2nd hand Joel Osteen) if you cant dazzle them in with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh*t who stole the idea from Relevant Yellow is a whole different story (Fact), he loved to make it known to all his female employees that he is a sex fiend/sex-aholic, was seen on numerous occasions giving females massages in the training room. A lawsuit waiting to happen
The thing I found very odd was the fact that he enjoyed asking females to go work out with him at the local 24 hour fitness. I never heard him ask 1 male employee.
This motivational speaker also began to embed this fear to his employees that eLocal was a Career and if you werent apart of eLocal then you were going nowhere.
He weekly forced departments to listen to his hypocritical philosophies on life dubbed The Church of Todd or as I would call them weekly brainwashes, a violation of your civil liberties in my opinion. I am no one to judge but shouldnt you practice what you preach?
By the way when will you bring your new 2 seater BMW to work Mr. Osteen *caugh* Johnson or shall we fire some more lower tier employees who still have stock so we can reacquire it, we could hire new people to replace them without benefits or stock options like your company has been doing for the last couple of months, so your partners in crime like Mike Ruter can have a matching BMW too!
He also began to ruin the companys workforce by making elocal a rehab center, hiring all his AA buddies into positions there were not at all qualified for.in most cases the new hires became a liability to the company.
Steve Espinosa the supposed company genius is really a newbie at best. His local profile idea was actually stolen from another company he worked for as well, just like most of his work (There are many people who worked for him who can testify the same or just compare all the content from www.reachlocal.com with www.zonecominc.com content and see it for yourself). I can assure you he is not a prodigy (or so Greg Royse would claim); his supposed product is really a way to make money off of a customers ignorance.
ELocal Listing continues to lie to their employees till this day promising them their stock, when in actuality they plan to remove every employee with stock options replacing them with new hires that wont have the same benefits of those with them already.
For about a month now many strange posts began to pop up over the internet.
Two names where always mentioned Anthony Todd Johnson (eLocal VP of Sales) and Mike Ruter (Director of Training) Claiming these two to be thieves scamming investors on multiple occasions.

'Todd Johnson AND Mike Ruter again? Looks like the same thing as the old Netpage Communications bankruptcy scandal from back in 97-98. Todd was the 'Director of Sales' and Mike was an 'Area Sales Manager'. One has to wonder if THAT was included on thier resumes when they actually got investors to back them again?'

For those who wish to know who Mr. Blaine Mansfield is, he was an Investor from Netpage Communications who commited suicide after Netpage went bankrupt and he lost everything he had.
So how did Mr. Mansfield write this? The truth is someone who knows a lot about Mr. Johnsons and Mr. Ruters past someone who knows the truth or elocal would not have spent so much time over the last couple of days trying to remove it from yahoos reviews.
After they could not remove the posts they removed their company listing from yahoo local in an attempt to hide the truth.

If you are potential customer, all I ask is that you do some research before you do business. There are many companies who offer the same services for a fraction of the cost.

If you are currently a customer
all I ask is if youre a customer and are unhappy with your result or service ask them to show you written proof that you have in actuality been submitted to all 50-25 Search Engines as stated on the TPV (Third Party Verification Recording) which is a verbal contract.
(You should care because it maximizes your online presence when you have been submitted to as many search engines as possible)
If not ask for a complete refund since the day your signed up.
This is known as a "Breach of Contract" and are entitled to all of your hard earned money back.

Be prepared, I am sure they well try to resell you. Be strong and insist on the written proof before doing anymore business.

I have decided to exercise my right of freedom of speech on a medium that is beyond their control so unlike their propaganda and psychological tactics, employees and customers alike can base their own decision/perception based on the facts and experience and not the fabricated truth.
