Last week I took my car to Pep Boys for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I called a few days ahead to make an appointment so I could go on my lunch hour. I was told it would take a half hour at the most. The guy on the phone was quite friendly.

Well, what a difference a few days later. After 45 minutes I went up to the counter and was assured a few more minutes. I ended up waiting 1 1/2 hours for my car! I didn't get to eat lunch and missed a meeting. When I asked the guy why it took so long he acted like he didn't hear me. I asked again, very nicely. He walked away and went to ask someone else (or acted like it). He came back and said there were other cars in front of me. I asked what the point of making an appointment was if I was going to have to wait. Again, no answer. So I said, well I'm sure you probably don't care, but this is the last time I bring my car here for anything if I can't even rely on a routine scheduled appointment. Apparently the workers there are deaf. He completed the transaction as I just stared at him. I left without him saying a word, not even have a nice day.

Rude doesn't even begin to explain the behavior. Customer service is not in the vocubulary there.
