I took out a loan @ car title loans in dec: 07" i made all of my payments from January - April"08". I called the company to let them know that my income had changed & that i would be a couple of day's late. Maria told me to make a good faith payment of $50.00 just to show that i was trying to make my payment. So i went in and made a payment of $100.00. While i was in the office Maria told me that i was elgible for a nother loan since i made all of my payments on time. The first loan was for $2000.00 & the second one was for $800.00. So she took the $100 payment gave me a receipt & statred the paper work for a new loan. The next day i called and the rep named oscar garcia told me that there was no documentation for the $100.00. So i called the corprate office & spoke to Josh& he took my name & number and called me back saying that maria told him that she did not receive a payment from me. Well i told Josh that i had a receipt and he called he back then she remebered. Ok now it was May and i called and spoke to oscar garcia and told him that i would be a little late so he said fine i went to the bank and deposited $120.00 in the company bank account & few day's later i went into the office and payed the remaining balance of $279.00 plus a late fee of$50.00 wich made the total amount i payed is $449.00 now here it is June and i called oscar and told him that i would be into the office on Friday becuase i was ill. He said ok well i went in on thursday becuase i got a letter in the mail stateing that i was delinquent on the first loan & that my car was going to be repossed. When i went in he said that he would take care of everything and let them know that i would be making a payment of that friday of $449.00 the $399.00 payment & th$50.00 late fee. Well i woke up @ 5am friday morning to the repo mantaking my car. I called the office when it opened and told oscar that they took my car and he siad for real! So i called the corporate office And i spoke to Teresa Mandujano and she told me to get my car back it would be $4000.00 i told her that i was not delinquint with my loan that they had made a mistake they had me deliquent on the wrong loan and she said that there was nothing she can do. I asked to speak to a supervisior and she told me no that i could not and i asked her why and she told me the suporvisor did not want to speak to me so after arguing back and forth for about 20 mins she said if i can bring to the office $500.00 that they would hold my car untill the 1st and then i can pay $1000.00 and they would give me my car back. Well i called yesterday and spoke to josh and he said that they were going to sell my car in a len sell on monday. I told him that teresa said they would hold it untill the 1st of july. He put me on hold & teresa got on the phone and s=asked me what was i talking to josh about& i told her that she said that they were going to hold my car untill the 1st then first she said she did not know what i was talking about then she said she didnt say it then she said there was nothing she can do after i called her a lie.
Josh told me that if i take $100.00 down to the office they would hold my car untill the 1st of july & then i can pay the balance of $900.00. I also explained to josh that they took my car for the first loan & in turn he told me that the second loan papers were never submitted by oscar or maria 7 that they had no record of me giving them the$329.00 they had record of the $120.00 becuase i deposited it at the bank. & he also gave me his promise that they would not sell my car. And he also stated and i quote that if i had all of my recepits that i should get my car back. And i also asked once agin to speak to a supervisior and they told me no & i asked for a print out of my payments
and oscar told me that they don't do that teresa said oscar was suppose to give it to me and i also spoke to marcos (another rep) he also told me no that they could not give me one and i asked him to call the supervisior and he said no. So why do they still have my car why don't they have documentation of my payments & i have the original recepits that they gave me. Because they are nothing more than common criminals & thiefs. And they deserved to be sued and i am going to sue them. They set up shop in low income neighborhoods and prey on single mothers. I am a single women with 5 kids that have asthma and i also have asthma& i also have custody of my nephew who has sezuires. The hospital that i take them to is 20-25 mins away by car and 1hour - 2 hours away by bus. With no car how am i suppose to get them to their doctor appointments & pick up their medication??? I need my car & they need to be put out of business for fraud!!!
Note oscar told me that i only had to pay $700 to get my car back!!! Thank you
