I had a phone call on the day my loan was due, from an employee named Caroline, asking when my payment would be in that day. I didnt have the money, and asked if I could pay it with a late fee, She said absolutly not, that if I didnt pay by 5 pm that evening, my car would get repossessed. WELL, I thought my car was gone so I just wrote it off as a loss more or less and was going to wait till they come and got it. I didnt read all of my loan papers YES THIS PART IS MY FAULT and found out that I could have paid my bill, and AFTER 11 DAYS THERE WAS A $5 A DAY LATE FEE. Well I was Irate! This chick didnt tell me that. I had already turned in my tags to save money and canceled the insurance. So I called back up there to speak to the manager, and he was rude as heck. He wouldnt let me speak, he kept interupting me and was asking me what was wrong with the car. I said nothing! Well, eventually he hung up on me when I said NO you listen to me! So I wasnt about to call them back. My husband did. He told my husband I was rude to him and that he was trying to help me keep my car. My husband told him to come get it, and he says we don't do that here. I called the corporate office and spoke to a woman in there and she told me yes they do do that, and said she would have a higher up call me. Well no phone call yet! Then I had a woman from the finance dept call me, she asked why I hadnt made a payment, I told her everything and then she said if I did make a payment, I could STILL LOOSE MY CAR! So i was like why should i pay for it! She said they could get me for theft by deception. I was more worried and upset! Then she said I had to bring the car to them or they would tack on another 300$for the repossession fee! Once again I called my husband in tears! He called them and they told him the same thing. Well the only way we got this problem resolved was we had a friend pay off the debt, and he gets the car. And they have the nerve to tell me i can come back anytime. Ha!!
