Nationwide Relocation Services
Nationwide relocation services ripoff's, scam artist, getting away with murder. Don't use them. Contact me for class action suit, news coverage

Me and my family were relocating from michigan to las vegas. We called several movers to shop around for the best price. We had two companies come out to our home arpin movers and van line. We were given an almost identical estimate from both of 4500 pounds and were given prices. I was contacted by a chris michalski from nationwide relocation services.

After giving chris a detailed inventory chris gave a estimate of 4406 pounds. Which was close to the two companies that had actualy came to my home.
He also gave us a price that was lower, so we contracted with nationwide on may 16

Our funiture was to be picked up on the 21 or 22, which was changed from the original date of 22 or 23rd. Because my lease was ending i needed to be out no later than midnight on the 23rd. We received a call on the 20th from dispatcher stating they were verifying our move for the 23rd. We told her it had been changed with nathan from nationwide to the 21st or 22nd to make sure we were out by the deadline. She stated nobody from nationwide notified her of the change, and told me to call chirs. I made 4 phone calls and chris never returned them. I then called back to the dispatcher and told her wer would work it out, but the movers had to be there the earlist in the morning as possilble.

The movers showed up at 7am on the 23rd, it was a company called best price movers, whom we had never heard of. They said they were contracted by nationwide to move our furniture. They packed up all of our belongings and at the end we were required to sign an inventory of what they had just put on the truck. One of the movers named vince or vinny, had said no don't be alarmed but we estimate the load by cubic feet it takes up in the truck not on actual weight, but don't worry the truck will be weighed and verified prior to it being delivered to you. He also went on the say that nationwide is natorious for low-balling their estimates to get customers to sign. Big red flag, but at that point the truck was already loaded and we needed to be in vegas by june 1st to start our jobs. And we were told that there would be a weight verification. And he wrote on his inventory contract that the estimate weight was the same as the nationwide contract, but he increased the price to reflect his estimate based on cubic feet in the truck.

We got into vegas on may 27th, and had not heard anything from anyone. Called chris several times to find out why we hadn't been given a delivery date. No response. So after 5 phone calls we talked with someone in customer service who stated that we had not been assigned to anyone yet to set up the delivery,

This is now june 1st. We let them know this was unsatifactory and we needed to know where our belongings are right now. We were assured someone would call us back by tomorrow. That never happened, we had to keep calling in until we were turned over to a person by the name of julius. We were then told our furniture was in route and would be delivered in the next two day.

On june 4th at 630am we received a called from mike, he stated he was the driver and was in a day early and would we be able to have our stuff delivered today. We said yes. He then went on to day he would be collecting $4,297.00 from cash or money order. A far cry from the $2,096.19 that was on our so called binding estimate that was due. We then told him why is it so much from the estimate. He stated that our load was 3000lbs more then what was estimated. We immediately asked for proof and a re-way. And what the driver didn't know that we did, is that 1400lbs of furniture had never made it onto to truck, i left it for my children for their own homes. So how on earth could i have 3000lbs more from the time the truck left michigan.

I was then told i would need to pay the higher estimate to get the truck weighed, which differs from the nationwide contract that states that i am only to pay the binding estimate given, unless the load is lighter then estimated, with the minimum being 3000lbs. I told them i am not paying you $2,000lbs more until you prove to me that my load mysterously grew. I was then told that i could not have the re-weigh unless i pay the additional money. I told them that what they were doing was extortion, he told me to call his boss karen at best price movers. I called nationwide a total of 17 times in the next 24 hours, nobody would call us back, until sarah called.

Sarah stated that she was a supervisor, and said the same things over and over, that we needed to pay the higher estimate first and then they would re-weigh. I even had the las vegas metro police come out and talk with them. And they refused. I didn't at this point trust i would get any of my money back, because the company had lied to us all along. I also went on this site usacomplaints.com and couldn't believe how many people they have done this to. And then it became my mission to shut this business down or make sure that every person in every state no what this company does.

I went to see an attorney in las vegas paid $90 to find out i cannot even sue them in my home state, because the contract i signed said i can only sue them in florida. I called the florida attorney general of broward county and talked with bob julian, who told me to call the police in florida and gave me another name.

I started calling my local news, i contacted nbc dateline by e-mail just trying to get someone to help. I was told that they don't have to tell me where my stuff is. And nobody from nationwide wants to talk with us, they said that the carrier is owed the money and i must deal with them, even though i contracted with nationwide to handle my move.

I promise all of you, i will make sure everyone in the united states knows about nationwide relocation services and best price moving. And as i told them i will be the last person that they ever do this to. I want anyone who has had dealings with nationwide or best price moving to contact me by e-mail. I want all of there stories heard and want to find an attorney to file a class action suit. I also want legislation in each state that holds these companies accountable for their illegal actions. Any attorney news agency i want you to contact us. This story needs to get out to everyone.

At this point i don't know where my stuff is, i am now being told to wire transfer money to an anthem claim management company whom i don't know before they will even give me a delivery date. I am not send anyone thousands of dollars or paying anyone until i see the truck in front of my house and have seen my good. I am living in a new town and don't have anythihng. They have basically taken everything from me. I won't be letting them get away with it.

If anyone can help. Please contact me.
God bless and pray for help for all of us.
