I received a free one year trial offer from Sirius with the purchase of my new Jeep. This was activated over the phone. Near the end of the one year trial membership I received a notice in the mail inviting me to start a paid subscription. Upon talking with a sales representive over the phone and being quoted the rates I declined their subscription and informed them as such. At the end of the one year I removed their radio and upgraded to a better one without Sirius capabilities. A couple months later I received a bill for one year of service which I sent back with the notation that I did not have or want their service. I have subsequently received additional bills and late charges. The bottom line is there was no signed contract obligating me beyond the trial subscription. I have at no time agreed verbally or in writing to continue service. A "supervisor" said it was covered in the "terms of service" to which I informed him that such terms, without a signed contract are unenforcable, and have no meaning. I understand from reading other peoples accounts that I am very lucky for not allowing these con men to get my credit card numbers. I have also filed a complaint with the Vermont AG's office and the BBB of New Jersey.
