I have been tired of rewriting my report for different sites so let me make the story short and to the point. My advice is to record the conversation ourselves when dealing with any one on the phone. Make sure you let them know before.
My mother called exited to give their phone and confirmation # for me to go on a cruise and the whole night mare began. I was on the phone with Mitch Id #PL7648, then to Christ Tearsion (ramada manager according to him) direct #954-236-8383, then to Kevin. They promised me upgrades, delux, and everything you wanted to hear at 200 mph so you can't really remember what they really offered you but I wrote everything down.
Anyway to get to the point I was told three times by Christ that It is refundable. I heard it myself the first time and my husband have to jumped out of the toilett to make sure if if was refundable and he heard it both time including my mother. I was considering another package for my brother in law and wasn't sure if he would go. Christ specifically told me that if my brother doesn't want it I can always call him on his direct phone line to cancel the package. "don't call anyone else call me on my dirct line and I will Cancel it myself" Christ said I did within 24 hrs and was offer a drop of $600. Too good to be true so I decided to do more research about it. I went to google and type in Ramada Plaza Resort Scam and Bam! It hit me.
I immediately call back to Christ the following day and he was a total different person. I advised him that he is being recorded and He ram on non-stop not letting me talk at all and said that he didn't said the package is refundable?!!!
I called back to cust service and act as if I am still interested in going on the cruise so they can tell me what I want to hear like before again. And Tolisha 800-203-9783 X4271 fell for it (even though I had advice her that she is being recorded) and told me that I can call in and cancel anytime if I decided not to go. So I hung up and called back to cancel and was told it's nonrefundable. I said I got the tape and she wants to hear it. I then said the tape is for my lawyer to hear not for some liars like you are.
I still have the tape and had go foward with the BBB and I also have a free lawyer in my family so I will have him take care of this. I have had my credit card company doing a fraud investigate on them and I am still trying to alert more innocent people from becoming their victim. I now understand the frustration of all ather victims. Good Luck all with getting your money back
