Ripoff deceptive company dishonest ripoffs

After speaking to a Ramada Plaza Resort representative and considereing what a great deal I was receiving, I booked a vacation package with them.
After paying for half the package and looking over all of the information they mailed to me my husband and I decided to try and cancel for a refund. We were told that there were no refunds and that they had my verbal agreement on tape and we could call on the following monday to listen. I called and eventually (a day later?) did hear my agreement over the phone. It was not until last evening when we were getting ready to go ahead and purchase the other half of the package that we discovered this site with all of the terrible feed back. I'm not sure what to do now to get our money back. We did, as suggested in one of these letters, call Ramada and told them that we'd be in contact with States Attorney but they did not budge.
I'm now going to request a complaint form in hopes that this will help. I can't believe how poorly this "reputable" company is treating everyone. I can't understand how they can get away with taking the money and not having to give it back when/if the consumer has second thoughts!
