Ripoff False advertising

I ordered the computer system Jim Peterson and ShopNBC clan have been selling recently. It took a week for me to finally get all 3 boxes but after I did and put the computer together I found out the monitor wasn't working correctly. I called the tech support and they talked me through a fix which lasted all of about 2 hours.

A couple days later I called them back to tell them it was doing it again and could they send me out a new monitor. They said it would take a day or two for paperwork and I should receive it within a week. A week later I called, not having received it yet and they said it hasn't shipped yet. For approximately 2 weeks I was pushed back and forth between them and Scanport (the mfg of the monitor). Finally, I talked to Scanport and they said it was shipped yesterday and gave me the UPS tracking number. I checked with UPS and they have a week for an approximate delivery date.

I called Viscom back to find out about getting a 30 day extension since I had problems with the computer from day 1 AND Jim Peterson always makes a point of telling people they get 30 days to check out their computer (not like the stores that only give you 14 days). I was told by 3 different people they would not extend my 30 days and then finally a manager told one of their people they would only extend me 2 weeks. I believe this is false advertising since they say on TELEVISION that you get 30 days and I haven't been able to use the computer at all.

Nobody EVER returns phone calls (including managers), or emails. It's like they really don't care about you. Then I was given 3 different days of my 30 day deadline, including TODAY as one of those days. So when they finally said they would only give me 2 weeks I told them to send me a return kit and I would be sending the computer back. It's not like I'm spending $50, I'm spending $2,000 and they should be treating their customers a Hell of a lot better than they do. I was on the phone with these people every other day trying to find out what was going on and I kept getting the run-around.

I haven't actually spent any money yet, except for phone calls (Wisconsin charges for every time you make a phone call), but I would be MORE than happy to join a class action suit against these people!!!
