Imperial Majesty Cruise Lines
Some of their operators are pretty slick

I actually got my offer in the mail, which I carefully read all the details. The same stuff that everyone on this website has been writing about. A couple of nights in Ft. Lauderdale, a 2 night cruise, and a few nights in Orlando. Rental car is include, all meals paid for on the cruise. The information in the booklet said that all of it was completely free. It even included a $1300 voucher, which on the reverse side mentioned, once deciphering the words, that they were intending to send you on this trip for a sales pitch. I didn't think anything about it because my parents and I in the past have gone on some wonderful trips with only sacrificing a few hours just to tell them no.

The information said that I needed to call with in 72 hours to reserve my spot. I actually opened the thing on a Sunday so the time had already passed most likely, but I called the next day. The man that I talked basically told me everything the package said, and hinted at the other incentives like the extra vacations to Las Vegas and Mexico were something that he was adding. Like the others, I had to talk to two other people to confirm what was going on. The booklet I received said the trip was free and I had this voucher, which none of the mentioned. I didn't care because I realized I was still getting a deal. I was charged $399 per person for the trip all meal included at the hotel stays, and $99 for the port charges, which totals up to about $1,000, which is still a great deal for a cruise. Then again, I don't know much about cruises and trips like that, so I'm thinking I've got a deal. They also informed me that I could give the trips to anyone I wanted and the package I received would have 10 weekend get-aways, 3 of which I could pick, and I have 2 years to pick a time to take the trips. A seemingly wonderful plan.

I was at work the nest day and one of my co-workers was asking me where she should go for her honeymoon. I thought to myself I just made a good deal, I should check the internet to see if they could work something out for her too. What I found on my search was this website. Once I left work and got home, I called the customer service number they provided me the day before. I remained calm and polite and simply told the gentleman that I have purchased a trip and would like to cancel it. I never said the word "refund." He did by saying he would transfer me to someone that handles refunds and cancellations. I was transferred to a lady who was very polite, as was I. She took my information like the previous person, then went away to "check my information." Once off of hold, she asked what I wanted to do and I told her I wanted to cancel my purchase, she went away again, came back and asked why. I told her that the person that I was going to go on the trip with, talked with me and we decided we wanted a longer cruise. She said they could upgrade me but would be more costly. I told her no, and that I took the previous package because the offer wouldn't stand if I didn't and I need more time to plan my trip and possibly get back to them. She went away again and said that I was approved for a refund and gave me a cancellation confirmation number and informed me that the charges would be reversed in 7 days and I would receive a postcard confirming it all. I guess I was treated so nicely because I was still in the 3-day grace period and the refund call only lasted about 15 minutes.

While they may be scam artists, it wasn't that bad of an experience and I was treated very nicely. I guess I got lucky. So, I recommend for you to do as I did, and stay as vague as they are and always be polite and act like you're still interested in doing business with them, and they will respect you.
