Responded to an offer of $9 for necklace. $9 was charged to my credit card. A couple of days later $68 appeared on my credit card. I found out it was the same company. I called ShopDani and was told I signed up for a 'club'. I DID NOT JOIN A CLUB! Nothing on the webpages show a membership for $68. There was no information regarding a club or membership. I immediately called to cancel. When I called, I could hear other customer service people talking and heard them say the same thing the CS was saying to me. They said they would cancel my membership. I asked if they would refund the $68 to my credit card. The CS said yes and I had to return the item. He did not mention I should also get a refund for the item ($9). My calculation, I should get a $77 refund when I return the necklace. It certainly is NOT worth $77! I am in a quandry; do I return the product and 'hope' they return my $ or do I 'eat' my loses and wear a $77 necklace that looks as if it cost $15?? HELP... Oh, by the way, they did send a cancellation email to me. What can we do to get these people stopped?
