We recieved a phone call from Simplicity Gourmet Claiming we won an all inclusive trip to Costa Rica, all we had to do is listen and have a few chefs cook for us. When we got there, there was no chef to cook for us. And the trip was just coupons for 2 nights at a hotel. No airfare included. We didn't see that until after we recieved an agreement of trial purchase. They offered thier salespitch on how we're going to be healthier eating from these pots & pans. Since their is a danger in nonstick cookware. These pans are better than nonstick, since we can cook an egg with out any burning or sticking. So my fiance thought we would try it out.
Boy where we fooled!!! These pan stuck to everything we cooked. They offered a set of cookware at a monthly payment. Not stating any additional finance charges. Just a flat monthly charge. When we recieved our first bill, there was a finance charge of. 18% hidden. We returned these items the next day. They refused the cookware & are now threating that this was a signed contract & will affect our credit if we don't pay. I didn't see a contract of a finance charge of 18%. We could of financed a car!!! We were dooped!!!
