My boyfriend recently went onto Classmates.com and registered. About 2 weeks later we had a strange charge on our credit card titled AP9*ShoppingEssentialV... I was pretty angry so I called the number that was listed on my online statement and after waiting on hold for 10 min. I finally got a person to answer. He asked for my membership ID #. I stated I had no idea what he was talking about and I was calling to find out why these charges were on my credit card. He apologized and tried to give me a year for the charge of 19.95 instead of one month and also a ten dollar cash rebate good on their site. I insisted I just wanted my money back and he said he would process it and it should take 2-3 business days. I will be monitoring closely. He also gave me his Employee ID number. His name was Alan #226717. So if anybody else has problems with this company talk to Alan - he at least is reversing the charges.
