I paid for Classmates Gold membership using my credit card and the charge of $39.00 was supposed to be good for one year. I tried to cancel after my 7 days of "free" membership but it didn't take. The $39.00 was billed to my credit card.
I looked at my credit card statement today and noticed that Classmates has charged my credit card for another $39.00 on the 8th of May, less than a month after the initial charge. When I tried to login, I was told that my login information was not correct. I tried to have them e-mail me my password and was told that I didn't give enough information, that they can't identify me.
I am now out $78.00 and I want my money back and them to stop charging my credit card. Their Gold Membership is a rip-off and there is no way to contact them to cancel my membership and to stop the charges to my credit card.
