There was a young black man who came to my door he knocked and knocked on my door. When I opened I felt intimidated. I don't recall the exchange of words in detail, all I know is that this guy told me he was a student from UTEP and a neighbor of mine. I quickly asked him in and sat him at my kitchen table. I remember pleading with him over my financial spending and telling him what a coincidence that his name was Julian and his mother's name was Mary. I also left the door cracked so my sister Mary could walk in.
Minutes later my sister walked in she was in a hurry. I know my sister was uncomfortable. She finished frosting the cake I had promised her and she exited out. He was determined to make another sell and he pushed yet another order on me. I remember feeling bad because I did not buy more magazines when he left. He was in my house for about half and hour. Then when my husband came home from work. He questioned the check book being out. He seemed upset, until I told him what the upscale housewifes' in the neighborhood had to say to eachother. They were smart! I am a loser once again.
