Recently I was having financial difficulties and turned to a PAYDAY loan for help. I received a phone call quickly, but at work. I gave all of the information that was needed. First they wanted to get my bank account info so the funds could be transferred. I gave all my info and then was contacted back in 45 minutes saying I was approved for 400.00 and there was a 129.00 fee for the 400.00. And the funds would be in my account within an hour. Fine i said. The woman on the other end said ok... Your first PAYMENT is due on march 20th. I said ok. Mind you, she did not say an amount or anything. Then she proceeded to say congratulations and hung up.
Later that day I got called into the office... And was FIRED for having DEBT collectors calling and verifying my employment for this money.
I didnt think much of being fired i said to myself... Well i will pay the first initial payment somehow... Thinking i would write the check myself even if it was late.
WRONG... The 20th of march I check my account. 120.00 is missing.
I was fuming. So i called GRC where i was given no respect and they did not want to hear anything. When i said NO ONE asked permission to take out these funds I was told..."Well what do you think they wanted your bank information for SWEETIE?"
I said to transfer the funds...
She said... Well you need to read your disclosure agreement...
I said its been two weeks and i got your money but no paperwork in the mail.
She couldnt say anything at that point, didnt even OFFER to send another one.
So I asked to be given a SUPERVISOR... She didnt even want to do that. Eventually after listening to her defend herself,
I was transferred to a VOICEMAIL...:- (
Jokes on them though cuz i made a claim with my bank and i will be refunded the funds then i was told to CLOSE OUT MY ACCOUNT...:-)
I want to pay them but they are giving me NO HELP. They say the FUNDS will continue to come out every two weeks and there is NOTHING i can do to STOP it. Has this happened to anyone else? Can someone help me?
I told the GRC lady... As soon as i get UNEMPLOYMENT i will send something but she said the funds will come out automatically anyway and to basically deal with it. She couldnt help me. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP...
I AM ALREADY in debt and trying not to get in any deeper...
