A woman claiming she was in a contest talked us into post dating a check for $40.00 for a magazine named Family Fun we plan on getting for our 8 year old daughter.
She promised the check would not be sent through the bank until the date it is wrote for, stating other people have done the same thing.
Our bank is now overdrawn and has cost us $29.98 overdraft. We want our $40.00 back plus the overdraft fee. It is sad to rip off adults but to leave
a small child without a book she thought she was going to get. How low is that?
I still have the receipts with me. There is no phone number, e-mail address or fax number. The company needs to be put out of business immediately.
There is an address. Maybe I should contact them by mail too to see what they tell me.
