Ripoffs - conartists-thieves— don't tell thet anything!

I received a notice from Georgia Check Recovery today saying this was my third notice. I don't think so! It stated that they were notifying me that check number 9999 and 10001 had been dishonored. And that this debt had been placed for collections with them.

The only information given in the letter were two account numbers 227325 and 227324. I was unaware of ever writing any checks that had not gone through do to the fact that I monitor my checking account very closely.

So I called Georgia Check Recovery to find out what the deal was. After doing so I find out that I have a balance of $708.00 due to them. I asked to whom I owed this amount to and Ms. Rutledge told me that it was to Ameritrust Financial. To be exact it was Ameritrustshop. I informed her I had never heard of this company before and that I never authorized any withdrawals from my account.

Now for the best part of the story!!! Back in October I received a call about a major credit card with a $2000.00 limitall for only $200.00 processing fee.
I was interested but was nervous after they wanted my checking account number.

I told them NO I wasn't interested and not to bother me. During this hole process I GOOGLED their name (Ameritrust Financial) and the first thing that pops up is consumer complaints.com. So this is when I told the guy to go fly a kite. The next day I went to my bank and informed them of what had happened and they said okay we'll just close your account and that will be the end of that.

So back to the good part. The company that was trying to get me to buy into their credit card offer was Ameritrust Financial out of Clearwater, Florida. The company that says I wrote them checks is out of Dunedin, Florida.

I went to my bank to check out my account and after all is said and done, no one from Ameritrust Financial or any other company has ever even tried to make a withdrawal from my account. So how is it that they even think that I owe them money if they never tried to withdrawal anything.

This is obviously a case of fraud. I never told anyone they could withdrawal any money and thank God they were not able to either. Something here just smells fishy. All i have to say is bring it on ameritrust financial. You just try to collect. I plan on notifying my district attorneys office and filing a report against you. You want my money come get it in court because that is what it will take!!! Bring it you slim balls!!!
