I received a letter in the mail today stating that I have to get a form notarized prior to any money being refunded. Maybe your company thinks this is a good way to do business. I'll share with you my steps to reverse this unauthorized transaction.
First, I'll notify my credit card that the charges were not authorized except for the initial purchase.
Second, I will notify the Better Business Bureau on your tactics to force your business on customers.
Third, I will devote an entire web site to your business outlining your deceiving ways of doing business and send out e-mails/instant messages to as many people as possible. Discuss it in chat rooms.
I will allow the money to be posted back to my credit card, the one you were not authorized to charge from, within 30 days. If it hasn't, I will conduct the above goals until you have lost sufficient business that you do the right thing and return my money. Hopefully this will not result in my taking legal action against you.
I have never heard of a credit card company requiring a notarized signature to refund money.
You can forward this to the person who is in charge of this "business". As I said on the phone, you can call me and discuss your product, that did not work as advertised - which I accepted as a mistake in purchasing some wonder drug and was not asking for a refund.
Let us hope that you will do the right thing and refund the money you stole from me and we can go on with our lives. Mine being honest and yours being dishonest.
I expect a response. Check your data base and call me, I'm sure you have my number.
