I ordered one of their products, MIOPLEX around the first of June. I paid by credit card. Found the product was worthless and had no plans to reorder. 60 days later I received another order and my credit card was again charged. I called their customer service and was told I had agreed to a subscription service as a preferred customer and they would ship every 60 days. Told them I had not agreed to any such thing and that it wasn't mentioned in my conversation when ordering.
Then they said it was stated in a brochure they sent with the product and that it was my responsibility to have read the brochure. I returned the product in its original unopened package by certified, registered mail on July 29. One of their employees, Sam Grote signed for the return on August 1. I also notified my credit card bank and had them put the second charge in dispute. Yesterday I got a letter from Boland stating that I would have to complete an enclosed form, sign it, have it notarized complete with notary seal or they would not honor any charge back or give me a credit.
The fun part is the form starts off " I don't wish to have better orgasms and then several questions to be answered. They recommended I take the form to my bank to be notarized. I guess they think people will be too embarrassed to do this and they would be off the hook.
I'm a retired banker so I didn't have a problem getting it notarized without the notary reading it. I sent the form back to them today all signed and notarized and can't wait to see what happens next.
