I called dish network or so i thought i did to get info on dish network. I eventually signed up for the service but decided i wanted to wait for a few months because i was moving. And after over 3 hours of holding and being given the worst customer service that i have ever seen still have not been given a refund on my $49.99 install fee. I never had the service installed but this company better tv as they are called out of birmingham al. Refuses to give me my money back. I have spoken to the exec. Office at the dish network and they will do nothing about it except tell me that i should have signed up through them. (duh i thought i was calling them when the flyer i received in the mail has DISH logo's all over it) No where in the fine print on the flyer i received does it say there is a non refundable fee involved but they are telling me that it can't be refunded.
DISH NETWORK told me that they are a retailer and that they cannot do anything about it. I asked the man if they had a franchise agreement with them and they were representing dish then why wouldn't dish do something about the fraud that is going on. He told me that they do get rid of them if they get enough complaints against them. I plan on contacting my attorney generals office with a complaint as well as the people of this company are crooks. Does anybody know how long you have to dispute the charges with your bank
