Hello, thank you for reading my “subway experience.”
I am reporting improper conduct and discrimination,
I am reporting a subway restaurant, where “employees” and “manager” are employed; their conduct is improper, vulgar, unprofessional, and prejudice beyond words!
My objective/motive,
Personally, I am reporting/speaking on my be half; I will try to include word which details for the “anonymous” that feel not to speak due to “embarrassment/threats” as that is understandable. When speaking on my be half, this isn’t devoted to selfishness nor for disrespectful rejection by a unprofessional subway-restaurant-staff. I am governing action for young people: individuals that “truly” want to work productively; those that contain a positive work ethic and can validate credibility. Unfortunately, I discover those of “ethical” youth are not only rejected, but disrespected by “subway” candidates “workers” and directed by a incompetent manager with common scheme. So therefore, when productive individuals apply for employment….. This is the negative atmosphere “we” and “costumers” have to deal with. Here I remain, I would like to report my experience, and further information - please continue.
Origin of subway restaurant,

I present my factual experience:
July 29: I went to subway for purchase of sub.
At this current time, several female workers were present.
Conduct and behavior,
Those who were working didn‘t operate badly, however the behavior was inappropriate.
Further detail: Overly humorous with other employees which isn’t funny for the costumer.
Personally, that didn’t bother me - eventually there was a shift.
Gender discrimination,
Respectfully, I induced because it is obvious, “dominantly ‘women’ are employed.”
Unexpectedly, “they as a group” spoke of “why” men are not assigned.
Further detail: The franchise/workers discriminated - referring men as jerks and placing a stereotypical definition on the male gender/population; that is gender discrimination.
I made it known and apologized on behalf of so/so that may have behaved wrongly. I made sure to note, not all men are disrespectful. There are men who want to work - don’t let a particular experience define/mar a whole population.
Gender discrimination and disrespecting a male employee,
“Few” workers disrespectfully referred to a “male employee” as feminine “female characteristics.” The employees didn’t consider him male-
I guess he was hired due to those particular attributes.
Further detail: The male employee wasn’t present, I guess he works a separate shift. The female employees may have been joking, but I didn’t take it that way - there is no need to be a hypocrite and disrespect another that isn’t present - that is slander.
With that noted, I see this as discrimination against those who contain masculine features and that is gender discrimination.
Employment,
I shifted focus on employment: particularly at that time - applications were unavailable. One of the employees advised the availability of the manager: 10:00am-12: pm.
I would like to note: I thought it would be nice to apply. I thought of positive aspects such as distance, people are returning/going to college/school - “I knew of a former worker at this place ‘before’ this situation. She told her plans - and due time for college.” With that conception: I thought workers may be needed, I was available. Also, due to circumstances/deadline….? I could not attend college.
I thought “best” to dedicate my time to employment - I proceeded.
July 30: I made my presences at 11:06am.
I was advised: the manager is busy - I understood and sat patiently.
Repeatedly, I was told the manager would be right with me.
I want to include,
I didn‘t know the identity of manager until time proceeded.
Every 10mins,
As I remain seated - a female employee would indicate, “she’s on the phone - she’ll be right with you.” I understood, I made sure I arrived early to avoid traffic “business-busyness.” I thought the whole atmosphere was odd as time went on.
Further detail: I noticed a women near the back “manager, ” she was stirring at me. Suddenly, she went out of distance “back room” and “workers” would follow. Repeatedly the workers would travel into the back room, come out, go back, and the cycle was endless. I couldn’t understand why the workers didn’t remain in the proper placement.
At the time, it wasn’t busy until a hour later.
1-hour later of sitting,
At this particular time, it was getting busy. I stood up to buy a sub and went through the process. My plan was to wait further - I guess the manager must be busy - I don’t see her anywhere. Please keep in mind, her identity was a mystery until time proceeded.
Sub in process,
I spoke,
“I misunderstood, is the manager present? ” You said she was speaking on the phone.
Was she on a cell phone talking with you personally? The young lady said,
“No, she is here.
I guess she is on the phone - I dunno.”
[The worker spoke in that form of detail]
[The worker seemed not to focus]
Note: As the sub is under construction - I naturally directed attention
To another worker, as I have to move over to purchase the sub after creation.
I politely asked,
“Can I provide my name & phone number - or do you
Think she’ll be available - is this a good time? ”
The worker came off immorally - that includes her entire body language,
She pretended as if I was a annoyance. She then turned to the manager “behind shoulder” and rudely pronounced,
“can you please talk or see what this DUDE/PERSON wants!? ”
[She spoke in that exact form]
Right at that time: I discovered the identity of the manager,
she was far from busy: she spent too much time talking and playing around. The manager acted as if I wasn't there and when I spoke up. She “too” pretended as if no one made any notification. My goal was to retrieve a application and meet the manager.
I said,
“I’ve sat here for an hour, did they not tell I was here? “
The manager replied,
“I am sorry.” [Her immoral employee spoke for her. Stating, this is a place of business.
As far from my observation, “they” as a group are not adequate for business. I would
never journey nor work for any merchant that performs under this conduct.
Truth and under occurrence,
The manager knew of my precedence: she stood and stirred at me for several minutes “through out the entire hour.” The manager wasn’t busy: her main duties were joking/playing around, flirting, stirring, and letting her workers act immorally - they all neglected their true duties and that is to respect and serve costumers as that is the job requirements - they’re failures. I know competent people exist: people who can replace them - perform with quality and self respect - productive!
Further detail: “They” as a group wanted me to wait, get mad, and leave. Well, I didn’t react totally that way - I went out with dignity and made my voice known.
After my exit,
I later made-call-by-phone: the same employee whom spoke for the manager disconnected me. Yes, I called back - she put on a terrible acting performance trying to place blame-etc. She was continuous: referring to me as a dude “antics.”
I didn’t take interest….. I wanted to speak to the manager and I did.
The manager, I would like to direct past tense: I and others knew this lady as respectful, nicely spoken…. And not one to be unkind. However, I can no longer see her as that - hiring disrespectful people no matter what gender is intolerable. Seems to me, they want to live out a repeat phase of their high school life within a subway restaurant. A manager is suppose to manage and hire productive individuals.
My disappointment exceeds far beyond words,
I write this sheet not only to express for my self, but for others who have to deal with this conduct. I will not visit that subway restaurant and I understand why others avoid due to the pessimist structure. The manager “later” apologize by phone for the second time AFTER I made known, “I will report this to the official forum, and pursue as-far-as possible. Her apology wasn’t genuine and I will further report this information. As people know me as a reputable person, I will express my experience.
I wish for a transitional phase where & for ethical/productive individuals are granted the “privilege” to become a manager. Then….. I hope to see the same breed no matter what gender, or race follow that scheme - lets paraphrase that productive cycle.
