Hired W.E.L. Construction, aka William Lang Home Improvement - Bill Lang and his sons to add a master bedroom and bath to our existing attic. They bumped out the roof of the attic and made it an almost flat roof with two skylights. Was assured they knew how to install these Velux windows on an almost flat roof. Job was completed in November/ December. However almost immediately we had problems with the skylights leaking. Had Bill Lang out or his son out several times to correct the problem in however, it kept leaking.in 2006 our ceiling was severely water damaged and upon looking for the leak found two very large ant nests (ants love water). Hired exterminator and took care of the ants but were left with a 4 ft by 4 ft hole in our new ceiling.
Additionally, Weymouth inspectors and insurance adjuster stopped by to see what could be done. Basically, was told that our contractor installed the window flashing upside down! Had Bill Lang's son come out and fix the flashing, however, after repeated phone calls to house and cell phone have not had our ceiling fixed. This being 2008 we are sleeping in a cold/drafty bedroom that still leaks.
Note our frustration as during the construction process we had always been very friendly with them and even bought them lunch almost every Friday or more as a thank you for all their hard work. Feel very hurt that he does not honor us and fix the roof correctly and repair our ceiling.
