They do not take care of it's retirees.
When a flight crew member retires it
is customary for a large frame with an aircraft is signed by your fellow crews wishing you a farewell. I was not offered this nor was any supervision contacting me as to my statu
i was injured on the job and had to retire due to my extensive surgery on my foot... Almost 40 stitches and four
(4 inch pins in 4 of my toes). Never recieved a call from delta air lines.
When i retired, they immediatedly took out "twice as much" for my health, delta and eye care. This was done for " four months", at a tune of over $1000
dollars. Never to be reimburseded.
I worked for my benefits and had to give them up. I could not afford the double deduction which was being taken out automatically.
Their management won't help you and their human resourses will not return phone calls.
I gave, gave and gave... I volunteered to fly out of seattle, the first flight after 911... I volunteered and gave up my vacation to
get people that were stranded...
I criss crossed the country for 5 days.
This is how delta air lines cares for it's employees.
Thank you today... Forgotten tomorrow.
Mr. Jerry greenstein (ex ceo) should remenber that when they needed me, i was there... Now that i'm retired, your not there for us.
