Con-Artists all consumers beware of reps visiting you from these companies

There are many reports about the unethical practices at which Cydcor companies treat there employees but I also wanted to warn the consumers out there.

If you are a business owner, you may be visited by representatives from AT&T, Verizon, Quill, or Innovative Merchant Solutions. If you are in Canada you may also be visited by representatives from local power companies as well as Rogers Cable and Telecom. I wish you would all beware of these reps. They are sales reps that work on a full commission basis and the company they work for does not care how they make the money, they are told to just make it. These reps are taught shady sales practices in order to manipulate customers into purchasing their products. The clients give these reps lists of disclosures they must read to customers at the end of a sale, however these reps are taught to just disregard those disclosures due to the fact that full disclosure will potentially halt their sale. If you are visited by AT&T, Verizon or Innovative Merchant Solutions, the latter of which will probably say they are from Visa/Mastercard, my advice is to remove them from your business as soon as possible. If you are interested in the products, call the company and they will full disclose all information that your sales representative more than likely avoided.

If you are a consumer at a private residence you will potentially be visited by reps promoting AT&T, AT&T Uverse, and Verizon FIOS. These reps have the same training as the business reps. They are taught to use shady sales practices and will more than likely say they are there doing routine customer service. This is a false statement and the clients actually instruct them to not use this language, however during independent sales training this is what they are taught. More than likely these reps will assure you that your bill will be lowered whereas in approximately 80% of cases, this turns out to be false. I also recommend that you remove these reps from your premises and call the said companies on your own if you are interested in their products.

For AT&T Uverse and Verizon FIOS, these reps will actually have a list of names and information. It is an attempt to make their tactics seem more legit. However you must be warned that they will be tying you into a contract for the said services, when most reps are taught to avoid releasing this sort of information. Beware of doing business with these reps, you are much better off contacting the company yourself and receiving all the correct information.

If you receive information from these reps without signing any sort of forms, reference their offering promotions with the ones you will receive from the company themself. More than likely the deal offered online or via phone with the company themself will be much better than when you deal with these reps.

Most people like to warn potential employees, I think it also must be important to warn potential consumers who may purchase these products, and also be scammed.
