I understand everyones' feelings based on the harassment calls, unexpected repossessions and false consent agreements between consumer and the company. I was a victim of these crimes that they have done and trust me, it's no joke and one way or another I'm glad that it's all over for me.
In February of my boyfriend and I purchased a 2004 Toyota Corrolla S from our local Toyota dealership. My boyfriend was making the payments and unfortunately 2 months later he lost his job and the payments fell on me. I did the best I could until I couldn't do anything. However, the lady who managed my account name was Lisa and me and her agreed that I would pay 3 months worth of payments and the car would be saved and the contract would renew... Well... How about the day I was going to pay Drive Financial, the car was repossessed!
Well the car was gone, at 800 dollars worth of things were in the car and the people who repossessed the car lost EVERYTHING!!! I couldn't get a claim because i could never get in touch with anyone. Well the car was sold at an auction and the person paid about 10,000 dollars on the car... And I was left with a balance of at least 6,500 dollars (how do I know, it was stated on my credit report). Because of all the agony and harassment they've put me through, I'm not paying the remaining of ANYTHING until there is justice!!!
