Influent is a business ran by shady, no good, no morals, low management.
I personally worked at the marietta influent for three years. It was hell on earth. Words of wisdom: if you smoke weed or deal drugs on the call floor you will become a SUPERVISOR! I dare you to random drug test them. Heck, go down about 11 pm one night and you'll find the shift manager coming in from the parking lot after one of his nightly getting high activities. I dare you! The surprise on your face 2 find it true would be enough to make me happy.
Also, i read all the rebuttles from other call centers. Yet none from marietta. Every SINGLE program they have, even if clients say it is to be verbatim, you are forced to use power scripts. As someone else mentioned, power scripts are illegal. For example, one night a couple of years ago a client walked into the marietta call center, posing as a tsr, walked past the receptionist, onto the call center, ripped all of the power scripts off the desks of one program (the one they are a client for) and took the program from influent! That is how clients feel about power scripts. Yet if you tell your supervisor you don't want to do that, they will say then this job is not for you.
They make power scripts, because the one the client give you to do on your screen is honest and thus you don't make many sales. But by lieing you can make lots.
Actually, in training, you learn and go over the power script. Don't believe me, give them a lie detector test; exactly, you know i'm honest.
You are told to lie, cheat, and steal these people just to make them sales. You, on the other hand make very little to none commissions for doing the lieing/cheating/stealing, you're making the company tons of money for chump change. You are told to tell people they will not be charged, when they are. Tell them they have a full 30 days to review something, when they only have about 15 after they get the package in the mail. Many, many, other lies are drilled into your head so that you make sales each night. Not honest sales, shady sales. The kind you don't feel good about at all.
I, personally, can tell you every single night shift supervisor is a drugie. Some are drug dealers. I dare ken cross to start drug testing sups, watch how fast they quit or try to sit down and be a tsr again, because they do! I was offered, but one of the sups to buy pills! I almost flipped out, i do not do pills! And for a SUP to ask me that i was mortified. If i had went to HR, which by the way is nothing more than a fat log sitting at a desk (she does nothing, for you or the company) but if i had went to HR that sup would have found out about it within 5 minutes, then i'd be fired or something.
I'm sure you'll hear from me again, give me a while to think of other shady activities, and i'll be back.
