How would you feel if you went to a display of new manufactured homes for sale and were told by its dealer to leave immediately; that the dealer did not want your business nor your money, all without justifiable cause? If it happened to me, it could happen to anyone.
Before I make an important investment into a home in which I am interested, I comparison shop. That can take some time, because there are many dealers with many excellent options on the various brands they carry. And, of course, I want to get my money's worth (with good value and quality not compromised).
Be cautious, as one particular dealer of a well-known manufactured home company, was this unkind in his approach to me. It took four months, letters and communication with our state's civil rights agencies, and much stress before the dealer gave an unbelievable explanation.
Trust me, this particular dealer will never have service with me again.
