This is the following letter I received from this company, which I had never heard of

CBCS has received a dispute letter from the above address that appears to be signed by you. The letter did not contain sufficant information for us to locate an account in our system. Please provide us with additional information, such as your CBCS account, SS#, and/or name of the original creditor.
As of now, nothing can be done until we receive more information to help locate your information. If you feel that you have been erroneously contated please disregard this notice.
Please feel free to contact our consumer relations department at the address below with any further questions.

K I just wrote all of that because I never wrote any letter to this company. And I had to do a search to even get their number to contact them. When I did I spoke with Lanae who hung up on me after I had read her the letter and explained that I was reluctent in giving any information after reading other usacomplaints.com. When I called back I got her again and said did you just hang up on me. She replied with well if your not willing to give me any of your info then there is nothing I can do.
Well for one the obviously have my address and my name. So if I sent them a letter stating that they need further info from me such as my social. Then how is Lanae going to look me up with just my name.
I have never filed for a credit report cause I credit is not the greatest anyways, but now after getting this letter I have to figure out what my credit really says. I guess this is just an eye opener as to what kind of world we live in when running a business doesn't mean anything anymore and you higher people like Lanae to help you with your business and that no one really has respect for anyone anymore.
