Attention all buyers. Please read and take note. The MO is the same for everyone. They get you to sell your current home or give notice on your apt by promising a move in date that in fact will NEVER happen. They get you in a desparate situation for a place to live so that you overlook things in your home before moving in. Jared will promise that he will have someone take care of it as soon as you move in when in fact, you will never see them again.
GET YOUR OWN INSPECTORS! Many of our townhomes were found not to have proper insulation, in fact, some had none. Numerous homes with 2nd and 3rd story balconies. Beware. Get them checked out. They are not properly built. My balconies did not even have bolts. It was literally being held up with wood and nails. Nail heads were protruding through the wood everywhere, not connected to anything. They painted over them so it was not visible to me until I was actually sitting outside and looking up. The siding is not being put up with the proper nails so eventually all of your nails start popping out of the siding leaving exposed holes. It is obvious that some of the things we have identified should have never passed inspection!
I was advised the pool, park, and guest parking would be completed by May. Those folks who moved in on Harbor Ct, Harbor Way etc obviously were given a date a way before May. Jared also showed me various spots where guest parking would be and now townhomes are sitting there.
Jared also steals property from his own boss so dont leave anything sitting around of value. We have literally seen him stealing ceiling fans and blinds from his own boss. Martin has been advised of this but apparently doesnt seem to care.
We constantly contact the City of Fort Worth to ensure what landscaping we have gets taken care of. Typically when the grass or weeds get about 2 feet high. They get attention. The open field behind those folks on Bay Ave is an eyesore and in constant need of pest control. Those folks can not even enjoy opening their windows as their homes get filled with red clay dirt.
EVERY resident has experienced leaks of some sort. When we had all of that rain this past summer. Everyones doors stuck and leaks sprung up everywhere. Come to find out. The doors were not properly sealed on the outside. This is still being done as we check the newly constructed townhomes just to see if the same issues are occurring and YES they are. Nothing has changed even with the number of complaints Martin and Jared have received.
Both are liars. Jared is nothing but a young, arrogant punk that does not know how to treat people. Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie. All of us have different stories that have come from Jared. None of them are the same. None. He will get his ass whooped before this project is completed. As for Martin, all I want to know is how you sleep at night knowing that you are screwing people over who work hard for their money and who just want a nice place to enjoy and call home. At this point, I will consider myself lucky if my place is still standing in 5 years.
Also we are being told by some of Martins own crew that he plans on building a few more townhomes and then leaving town! So if you are wanting a park and pool we would suggest you wait until its actually here before you consider buying. He is such a cheap ass that he doesnt realize. If he would just put the park and pool in now... That would give him much more curb appeal. The folks who already live here would be referring their own friends to live here too.
I too have sent emails to the WatchDog at Star Telegram and to Channel 4 News in hopes of exposing these crooks! I have taken pictures of all of the issues around here, including a big gaping hole in the street that they just identify with a cone, trash laying around, weeds as high as 3 feet, water drainage issues in the streets when it rains, lighting issues at night (or should I point out, no lights at all) and the list goes on.
