North Shore Agency, Inc
This issue was settled in but now here we go again

In 2006 I kept getting notices from The North Shore Agency, for books from a publishing house or some company, it has been so long ago that I have forgotten exactly who, that was ordered by my wife.

The first book arrived and we looked it over and was not the information that we needed, so I packed the book back up and sent it back to the sender. The next month here comes another book, one that we did not want, and I carried that one back to the Post Office where it was marked Refused and sent back to the company. The packing was not opened by us at all.

At the time that we recieved the bill for the books, I notified the company that theese books were not what we needed and that I had returned them. I thought that this was all of the problem.

Later in the year, about six months later, I started getting notices from the North Shore Agency, for debt collection on the same account that had been refused and the books returned to the company that sent them. I called North Shore Agency and thought that I had resolved the problem, by explaining to them that I had notified the publisher about the returns and they acknowledged the returns.

Now, here it is a year later, and heres another notice from "The North Shore Agency". This time the notice stated that my account was "seriously delinquent". To have this removed from the credit reporting agency, I had to pay the bill for the books that we do not have, the same ones that I returned to the publisher in 2006.

To make a long story short, I have sent the money to them. I would have liked to contact the firm that the books came from and was returned to, and inform them that, save the postage on any further mailings to me, also save the paper and ink that would be used on further mailings, because I will never buy another book or any other thing from either the publisher or company that we were dealing with at the time, ever again.

While using their web site for payment, anyone else should be careful if they have to deal with this, because when you go through the steps for the transaction, the steps will automaticly repeat itself. A person could, if not careful, pay the same bill several times before realizing that they had been really screwed.
