West Point Relocation - All Points Van Lines - Power Point Movers
Total Scam Moving Company Unprofessional Unethical Company to avoid at ALL costs

I hired this moving company to pack, move my household from Ca to Hawaii plus ship my 2 cars. On the day of our move, 8/28/07, around 11am, 5 men showed up with only 1 who spoke English. The is the foreman and his name is Martin. They were to professionally pack my china, crystal, Tiffany lamps, Neon signs, and antique pieces.By the evening of the move the foreman informs me he will need more money.initially he was asking for a 50% increase. Called my contact person Chris Brown at West Point Relocation. He tells me to put $4,000 on my credit card and he will imburse me for the amount thwe next day. I also wanted $10,000 in extra insurance. Told at the end of the move I needed to write out a full inventory of everything that was packed along with the value it is almost midnight myhusband and I have been more than 36 hours. Chris Brown tells us to sign we do NOT want insurance and he will add that on the next day. Movers leave the house in a mess.

They also take my husband car to be shipped. Later that night approximately 1am, when my husband returns to our home to pick up my medicine that need to be refridgerated that we accidentally left at the house. He notices a car like his sitting at the signal next to him. Wait IT IS our car. He knows this because we have personalized license plates. When the light changes the guy races away in front of him. As he approaches our old neighborhood my husband watches the driver's head bob as he bottoms out the car going over the speed bumps at the entrance to our community.

The next morning my husband, myself, 2 friends and 2 hired cleaning ladies go to the house. We discover multiple items left behind in closed cabinets, and drawers. The movers have damaged walls, laminate wood flooring, scratched my tile floors, left holes in walls where the pulled thing in anchors out of the drywall rather than unscrewing the screws, my light tan carpet now has a large black soiled spot plus many more newly soiled spots.

We call Chris Brown at (877) mahalo7 (his cell) no answer than call the office number (818) 834-1231. We ask about our refund, tell him of the damages to our home, tell him that the movers not not pack/take many of our things and ask about the insurance. He now tells us he can not return any money we much place a claim with their claims dept. When I inquire about the extra insurance he tell me he has another call and will call me right back. He says he will have someone pick up our left behind items. I also ask about our car, who drove it etc. He says he'll look into it.

Later that day, Chris calls us. He states his driver denies driving fast (remember my husband saw him with his own eyes). He now says it is our fault things were left behind, he will not have anyone pick up. As for the damage done to our home. We can make a claim. No talk of the extra insurance!!! We are forced to give away hundreds of dollars worth of things because the movers did not take them with them even though the day of the move I personally walked him through everything we wanted to go with us.
We work to clean the house from 8:30am until 2am the next morning.

The next morning as we going to fly out to Hawaii. We get a call from Chris Brown he NOW, THIS MINUTE, has someone waiting at our old home to pick up the items left behind. I call 1 friend that I gave a truck full of things too. Luckily she has the am off work. We drive to her home to pick up many of the things, yet things I gave the cleaning ladies, 2 other friends and the local can never be retreived. These men pack them in an unmarked Uhaul truck. They also see the damage done to my home. I am informed the foreman on our job, Martin, often uses ilegal day laborers. We are not surprised. I now get the name of Eugene over at West Point Relocation. I speak to him. He assures us everything will be wonderful from here on out.

We fly to Hawaii. Eugene gives us the name of our Hawaiian contact person, David W. I begin calling him the week before our things arrive. No reply is received.

On 9/18/07 the movers arrive around 11:30 am. Thjey load things into a Uhaul and drive them from the container parked on the highway and bring them down to our NEW home. After unloading things onto our driveway from the Uhaul they start driving away from the house with a wrought iron chair on the roof. It crashes to the ground breaking into countless unrepairable pieces. I take pictures. I also take many pictures of the boxes as they are unloaded they are buckling because packers placed heavy boxes on top of light one. Things being unloaded are noticably damaged. I have a 3 piece one of a kind set of metal lifesize art pieces that are broken into many pieces. These things were welded together and are strong so it is evident they must have been man handed to break. After a few hours it looked like rain they moved some things into the garage with the remaining items in the container and left.

Then next day 9/19/07 the movers come back they move very slowly. Evening comes, things are not moved into our New move. Things that should be in the garage are in the house and things for the home remain in the garage. The foreman, Ben, tells me they have to go of they will miss their flight out to Honolulu. He also adds that since it will be close they need to take a cab to the airport from the Uhaul place and ask for money for the taxi. I stupidly feel sorry for them and give him $40 dollars cash.

I remind them they are to take the boxed that I have managed to empty with them. They take the few that I have managed to unpack with them in the Uhaul and leave on their way. Remeber they NEVER completed the move.

These movers also did damage to my home. They damaged the stairs outside my home, the put dents into walls, damaged walls, moldings doorways and doors. They broke more of my outdoor malibu lights, crushed most of the plants at the front of my home. Left trash all over my front yard etc.

The next morning I am awaken by a knock at the door. The movers disposed of the boxes by dumpimg them out ALL throughout my NEW neighborhood and down along the Mamalahoa Highway up to 3 miles. My husband and I pay someone to use their truck to pick up all the trash other neighbors hadn't already decided to pull in off the sides of the roads and take to the dump. We manage to take 3 full truck loads of boxes and packing materials to the dump.

Over the next week I empty a sea of boxes finding more and more broken items, every piece of wood furniture I own is scratched, dented, broke. It is hearet breaking I called David W. 5 times. Not until I state that I have called an Attorney does he return my calls. He says his movers deny throwing the empty boxes out by littering. I tell him I have many witnesses and picture.

I call West Point Relocation again and again. I am told I need to speak to Maria to make a claim. She went home sick early. No call the nexy day. No one calls to make things right. I call both credit card companies to dispute the charges, make complaints with both the CA and HI BBB. Nothing has been done to date to make anything right. I have been told to file a complaint with Anthems Claim Management. After doing my homework I find out this is a scam company Also. These people are the best scam artist.

I see they are now advertising on Hawaii.com and the Konaweb. I write on the konaweb sharing my story with others only to have my writings deleted by Konabob. I personally e-mail Bob telling him they are a scam company. Tell him they are really All Points Van Lines with a current "D" rating with the BBB and more. Told him they answer the homes "All Point Moving & Storage". Now they NO longer do. Today they answer the phone "Moving & Storage". I see all my advise to others concernig this company on the Konaweb has been personally deleted by Bob. Before this happen though I have 1 honest lady write me telling me that she has read several BAD things about West Point Relocation before on the Konaweb.

This is sad news for me. AS I know others are being scammed by this company as I write this. They are GREAT sales people, Yet unethical movers. I hope others read this and share it with everyone they know. I think I will have to take them to court. I have more than 250 pictures of showing all the damages I wrote about and more. Please warn others not to use this moving company.
