Fraud!

I received a notification that I had won a lottery in Canada. First flag... I never played the lottery.

It was in the 2nd category at Niagra Casino. 2nd flag... Although it had the OLG (Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp.) letterhead I couldn't verify the Casino.

I also received a $1950 check that I was instructed to deposit in my bank account. Then I was told to send the taxes by western union or moneygram... 3rd flag.

The winning numbers could not be verified on the OLG website, one of the numbers couldn't even be used... 4th flag.

Once I called back and asked a few questions the man became angry and hung-up the phone.

Thanks to this website and a few others I didn't get ripped off. Take the five minutes it takes to do some research before jumping into anything that sounds "To Good To Be True".
