I placed an order online and then rec'd an e-mail requesting I call regarding my order. When I called, I was told I would not be certain to receive the blue camera as they don't specify the color of the camera. I said well you do specify the color online. He hemmed around and finally said if you don't get the blue you will get the black, OK? I said it is not really Ok but what choice do I have?

Then he went on to state that the extended warranty I added to my order didn't cover my camera. He said the 5 year ext warr was $149 but he would sell it to me fo $79.99. As the original ext warr was 7 years for $39.99, I told him just to take the ext warr off. He then said he would check and see if he could do the ext warr for $69. After a few seconds, he said I will do it for $69, just say Thank You, OK? I said no, if the warr is not $39.99 I don't want it.

He then tried again to sell me the ext warr and I asked to speak to a supervisor as I was pretty sure I was speaking English. He told me I wasn't speaking English (I was born and raised in North Florida - I don't speak any other language but English), he didn't have a supervisor, he owned the company, and I wasn't getting the camera. Well that was one thing I definitely agreed to with an OK! He then said I could get the camera somewhere else - like that was going to hurt my feelings since he was obviously a behind - to which I replied "Bite Me" and hung up. Not the most mature response but he was rude.

He sent me an e-mail:
As per your instructions, this email is to inform you that your order was cancelled and deleted in our system, as a policy we do not charge an account unless the product ships that day.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Your Cancellation number is c44.

I responded:
The order was not cancelled per my instructions. It
was cancelled because I would not be strong armed in
to buying an extended warranty at a price I didn't
want to pay.

I will report this to the appropriate authorities
since you told me I wasnt' getting it, to get it
elsewhere and see if they take that as me cancelling
the order.

How do you reconcile yourself to offering apologies
for the inconvenience when you caused the
inconvenience and then lied about it?

Must be great to be able to abuse potential customers.

I actually count myself lucky that I didn't get any further involved with these shysters. I will be watching my c/c CLOSELY to make sure I am not charged.
