Charges of $54.90 and $49.95 appeared unexpectedly on our credit card statement under the name of Globalinx. We had no recollection of that name, and had not approved any such charge.
Our credit card company seemed aware of such occurances, and said it might be charges for phone card services.
The fast-talking Globalinx rep said he did not wish "to argue about it" but felt that we had clicked some offer incorrectly or had ignored some email "confirmation." He agreed to credit our account within two weeks—and we are holding our breath.
