I can only echo the complaint so many others have made already against this firm. We too inadvertently signed up for their long distance service and never got confirmation of it from them or any notification of the service OTHER THAN CHARGES ON OUR CREDIT CARD which we used to make an unrelated purchase on the internet.
I contacted Globalinx and like so many others was promised that the charges to the credit card would be reversed. They even gave me a confirmation #. But that was on August 27. It is now November 1 and the charges totalling $204.75 have NOT been reversed. I tried to reach them via email this week but it did not go through. I called them today but did not get through.
So today I filed a complaint with the FCC through their website; I encourage everyong who is victimized by Globalinx to file a complaint with the FCC.
