My 15yr old daughter recieved a check in the mail along with a letter stating that she won one hundred thousand dollars, the check is for 4,880.00 she is to money gram 3,786.00 to a account recevable officer, and in return call a phone number to verify all claim numbers, batch numbers, an dwih in 24-48 hours she is to get another check total 95,120.00 from fedex express.
I have a real problem in believing this is anything but fake, I have read so many scams that this is abuse on a child, my child.
I would like to see some kind of legal punishment for this kind of abuse, my daughter thought she was real rich and had her life all planned out at 15yrs. Old. I am not comfortable with any of this, I have emailed the bank on the check, the company it is suppose to be from and I am also contacting my local and state authorities on this. I fear for my daughters well being. I can not sleep, my daughter is scared to be alone, what other information do these people have.
I would be the first to admit I was wrong on all information if it is all legal and it is all true to the penny. But my feelings are telling me it is wrong and I do care for my daughter and will do anything to take care of her, she is none replaceable. And she is my life, I know there are other people/family members that feel the same and are going through the same thing, I do not like the way our family has been feeling since this ordeal has happened. I need to get this all taken care of and the guilty party delt with by the law.
Please help us take care of this problem, I am not alone in this matter by looking on the internet at other stories, of people like us just trying to raise our families safe and without having to be scared of opening mail or answering phones.
