I am a small business owner and was doing well until an account executive of merchant services stopped by and offered me a cheaper rate, to which I agreed. The paper which I signed stated that I was on a month to month processing contract with them, and was promised to get a copy of and I did not get till now. When the equipments arrive, they did not provide me with the full service and told us to get another line to do half processing on one machine with them and other half on a different machine with other company. I am trying to cut my overhead over here and these people instead of helping me are increasing my overhead. When I told them that I didn't needed them and plus I was still in a 30 day frame to come out without having to pay nothing, they bombarded me with early termination fee of $495.00. Now, here I am with no card processing and just not being able to help my customers either. This is the kind of service they provide to small businesses, basically ripping them off.
