I worked at the Tacoma Target from May 29TH to June18TH. My workstation was the Pizza Hut/Taco Bell and started as a part-time employee (they call them team members). On June 21ST I terminated myself because I wasn't no longer making it work out.
Anne, one of the executive team leaders asked me if I have a learning disability because she observed me sweeping the lobby, restocking the condiment packets and wiping the tables and said I worked too slow. Shelly, the team leader of the Pizza Hut/Taco Bell area said that I was not accurate with ringing up the orders and told me about the complaints from the guests.
I have never worked in fast food before this job and yet got treated as if I had some mental disability. I don't have any learning disability! I wasn't enjoying job because of my negative experience working here.
A majority of employees that are hired at this Target store are teenagers and young college students. But being asked if have a learning disability I think is inappropriate. There is no diversity at this Target.
