I get constant phone calls with the caller ID Name & Number coming up as, Preferred Reader, 623-934-4736. When you call back this number it just rings and rings, so I also dug this up on them. Another AKA:

You call the second number that I found online and a machine answers and asks for you to leave your name and number and they will call you back. They wont. The reverse information on this number comes up as "Qwest". So here we are with "3" Different names to this company. Hmmmm. It says it is an unpublished number, does that surprise you?
What this company does is they try to fish information from you by first asking you how you like the subsctiption to your magazine. When you ask them "which one?", or say you dont have one they say "the sports one" or "the beauty one" not mentioning any titles which leads you to say, "oh my sports illustrated?" You've just bit off the first piece of the scam.
They go on to tell you about the fantastic deal they have going on, too good to be true, and if you pay in full, you get it almost for free. We all love deals, right? If it sounds too good to be true, it is. You never get the magazines, but they cash the checks. They are stealing your information from other companies and having you send the money to them, promising you unbelieveble rates, compared to what your paying now. Luckily I saw the red flags and didnt fall for it, but im sure that there are alot of people who do. Not because they're stupid, but because they truly believe that we are protected by idots like this. We're not at all... This is just not a priority for our government at all.
I have been doing alot of research on these scammers and can't believe what they're getting away with! They will call you names, and when you ask them to stop calling, they just hang up. Guaranteed you get another call within a few days. I always ask the name of the person, just to have some documentation, and most of the time her name is "Tracy", or so she says. I tell her I am going to report them and she says, "go ahead". She has a mouth like a truck driver, (I mean no offense to truck drivers, just a phrase).
Please let me know if anyone else has heard of these people. I have contacted our Governer, Robert Doyle Of Wisconsin, and also Senator Russ Feingold. I have also written to the Attorney General Of Wisconsin and have gotten NO replies.
I want to take some kind of action on this, but it would really help if I had other people who have dealt with these scammers also make a complaint. Thank you so much, and good luck! Stand up for your rights America! This is illegal and has to be stopped!!
