I was contacted & informed that I had been selected to receive a government grant of $4,500.00. She asked if I had a checking account & if I was in good standing with my bank. She then asked for my bank routing number. (I asked her the name of her company & where she was located. When I asked for a call back number, she told me it would be included with my package they would be mailing me.) I quickly googled ASF and your complaint was the first thing to pop up! I told her to send me the package & I would consider filling out the paperwork & including my routing number. She would not do that. When I declined to give her my routing number over the phone, she tried a few clever phrases to let me know I would not get the money unless I complied - I again declined - she quickly ended the conversation.
