VARSITY DODGE a name I do not care to hear ever again!!! Dodge, Chryser, or Plymouth is a automobile I will never buy ever again!!!
In December I bought my first Dodge truck Quad Cab a truck that listed for $30,000.00 I was happy to finally get a truck with four doors. I pay $550.00 a month which is a little high for my budget, I am just a working man that lives from check to check. The only reason I bought this truck was because of my elderly parents with health problems so they could be comfortable.
The first week I had the truck it started shaking in the rear of the truck, so I took it back, a couple of days later it was ready, they said it had a warped tire and replaced it.
The problem did not totally go away approximately 2 weeks later the shake got worse, I took it back for the second time, a couple of days later it was ready.
I picked it up and again they said it had a warped tire. Approximately 2 to 3 weeks later the shake got worse so I took it back again for the 3rd time, about 3 days later it was ready they said it had a warped drive shaft but it still did not stop the shake. Same as before, I took it back for the 4th time and they kept it for about 3 days this time they said they could not find anything wrong so I picked it up. Still the shake was still there I took it back the 5th time this time the man who I thought was the shope foreman, was the manager of the Parts Department he was also a complete idiot and a jackass.
Well, we went for a ride at first he said it was my exhaust (I changed the mufflers). When I reminded him of the first 3 times I brought it back it had factory exhaust he then said it was the dispersition of the factory 20" wheels when I had told him 20" wheels might ride a little rough, not shake he just sat there like a mule looking at a new gate. Before we made it back to the shop he looks at me and says "I feel it shaking but there is nothing we can do about it". Let me remind you this man is not a mechanic and has no mechanical experience, well feeling like there was nothing else I could do I left. Approximately a month later I washed it and noticed the tailgate did not match, upon further inspection I found bondo all over the tailgate and looking over the truck I found that the back passenger door wasn't right, the bed was crooked, the front seat cover looks like they have been replaced, the front driver door has droped down 1/8 of an inch and shakes when I hit a bump, and it did not have a spare tire. I have also had the rotors turned twice.
The first time at 16,000 miles and only 3 of them needed to be turned the second time only 2 needed to be turned and it has not done any good at all. So I took it back and showed this to Varisty Dodge and tried to get them to take the truck back, I tried for 2 weeks all they did was laugh at me.
Now mind you this truck came from a Texas lot so I got a lawyer, and after finding out that this truck has been in a collision center in Texas and that all evidence points to this truck has been in a accident but it looks like I am going to have to keep it for the simple fact I had to drive it but I have to go to work, and take my parent to their Doctor's appointment I feel totally betrayed, and screwed over by Varsity Dodge, if they were the only car dealership around I think I would rather ride a three legged hog into hell than to buy anything from VARSITY DODGE.
