I applied online for 1 free credit report. After the first initial application, i was billed 12.95. I contacted the company, was told that since i was cancelling before the first 30 days, no more charges or affiliation with said company would be necessary. They billed me again 12.95 on july 13th. Again i contacted the company, and was told no history of a cancellation was on file, so i cancelled again. A cancellation confirmation was sent to my email on this date advising my cancellation by phone with "ben". A supposedly credit to my debit account is coming.
I will keep you informed if this occurs, but just for my satisfaction, i will contact my bank for a reversal of the charges as well.
