I went to home depot 2 weeks ago to get a purchase for work my card was declined, right off i was embaressed, went to my bank they wouldnt tell me nothing, just gave me a phone number to call, it was the lawyer office stated above. I was very nice figured it could be taken care of it was a mistake, the guy i talked to right off was very nasty, I explained to him this isnt mine, he told me to prove it, I ask him for info on when the card was issued/dates address it was sent to he told me he didnt have to tell me anything, that they had a hold on my account and that was it, again i begged him to tell me something, that this was not me, and they are causing a hardship on me and it needed to get straighten out, he didnt care and gloated they hit my account, he had me in tears, I gave the phone to my cousin because i ask to talk to his supervisor he told me no, i ask to talk to the lawyer or one of them he told me they wouldnt speak to me had no reason to they got some of what they wanted. My cousin talked to them managed to get a account number, nasty to her as well, I was just to stressed to go any farther with them i have high blood pressure, so i came home called the clerks office at the court house she showed nothing, then I called them back hoping to speak to a human, and got the same story we dont have to tell you nothing, I then went to my bank where i opened my account and got a copy of the garnishment, i informed them this was not me, nothing they could do, went to a lawyer she pulled the court info, the judgement was granted in 1991 of july, I explained to her i knew nothing of this, card was opened in 1998, I sent for my credit report, it says paid??? I called the people I was to owe they dont have me on file for nothing, account # dont match but i gave her the other one and stated theres nothing??? I called the lawyers office back that are suing me and ask for the account number again to insure we got it right. I ask them for the creditors number beacude its in some one elses name, they gave me the name but no contact number or address he said no I asked him how was i to dispute this with no info, told me to do research, person suing me now is palisades??? He told me this account has changed many companies i asked him how many wouldnt tell me. This has caused me so much stress, losing sleep etc, I need help please this is not me, I am a poor person I clean for a living, I cant even put my checks in the bank plus i have over 200.00 in bounced bank charges, the lawyer i went to wants way much money that i dont have, my court date is 7/24/07 please can you help me I want to sue them and have the case on the same day. Myself and my son went without for 3 days, then i ended up in a pawn shop for money, I was to bring on a partner with my buisness, now she has backed out, cant say i blame her, yes i owe medical bills, if i owed this i wouldnt be emailing you I know when I am wrong but I am right thank you for your time
