I've known many people who have stayed in this apartment complex, and everyone of them has complained of being charged outlandish fees upon their move-out. I did not realize how extreme this was until it came time for me to move out.
When I moved in I notified the complex of numerous damages to the apartment. These were never fixed. When it came time for me to move out, the complex attempted to charge me for all of these damages.
Also, the company collects a pet fee, which they do not use towards any damages that may be cause by a pet, and the fee is non-refundable.
In short, this place never fixed any of the damages in my apartment, then turned around and attempted to collect them from me.
The management is extremely impersonable, never once speaking to me during my 3 years in the apartment — even when I left messages. The only time I ever got results was in directly contacting United Dominion Reality, their parent company.
I will also note that upon move-out, I payed a fee to have the apartment cleaned — This seemed to do no good, as they also attempted to charge me with cleaning costs, in addition to repairs.
Do not live here.
