I ordered a video seen on TV, titled "Learning Ebay" on 4/28/07 and charged it to my AMEX. I received it, and realized it was something I could learn simply by going to Ebay instructions.
I called Video Professor to get a return authorization number, and returned the video on 5/4/07. I just received my AMEX statement and saw that I had been charged $1.69 on 4/27/07, $1.00 on 4/29/07, and $1.00 on 4/29/07.
There was a phone number to call (800-525-7763) which I tried several times, but "all representatives were busy" even at 10:00 PM and 4:30 AM. The note describing each charge was "Schools & Educ. Svcs. Not elsewhere clas.
ROC No. 0000334828." This is meaningless.
I finally submitted an Email to Video Professor Customer Service this morning requesting an explanation of these charges. I am also planning to send a fax to Video Professor regarding this same issue. And I plan to write a letter to AMEX disputing these charges.
