We received a credit card statement on 5/26. On the statement there was a charge from both American Leisure and EasySaver for $ 1.00 each.
When we called one of the numbers on the statement it stated customer service was closed but if you entered you phone number they maybe able to help.
Once you do this it gives you options to cancel your membership, (What membership?) or speak to a representative, of course no one is there to speak to.
I became even more concerned when I called the second number and received the same recording, which seems to follow suit with other reports on these companies.
The recording also states you can log on to canceleasysaver.com to cancel your membership.
I could not find this site or others. I began searching the internet for these companies and that is when I discovered complaint. I immediately called my credit card company and explained the situation to the representative, who transferred me to the fraud department.
The person I spoke to said that these two companies had already charged the credit card another $14.95 each and it was obvious she was familiar with the fraudulent activities of these companies. The card was immediately canceled and we will be refunded. You must report activities at once.
