Colorado Reptile Humane Society is supposedly a reptile rescue headed by Ann-Eliabeth Nash. Ms Nash is also a vocal member of PETA.
In Colorado there is a legal defined difference between a rescue and a shelter and although they are registered as a rescue they operate as a shelter.
According to their filed records they euthanize almost half the animals they take in. Ms. Nash has stated publicly that will euthanize all non-native species brought to them. They also "sterilize" animals brought to them by mutilating their reproductive organs. This is not an acceptable or humane procedure.
CORHS also charges a $10 processing fee to fill out an adoption request. However, I know of no one who has actually filled out this request and adopted an animal. Most people are never even contacted once their money is sent.
